Anata wa Kaibutsu – From When Hikaru Died
“Anata wa Kaibutsu” (あなたはかいぶつ) is the ending theme for the anime When Hikaru Died. This TOOBOE anime song was digitally released on July 20, 2025.
In his official comment, TOOBOE shared how he immersed himself in the story while creating this song. He spent time “contemplating how one might savor memories and promises,” when realizing their neighbor wasn’t who they thought they were.
As he tried to understand the protagonist Yoshiki’s feelings, he says, “the more pure, sorrowful, and cruel they became.”
He described the song as “a kind of forgiveness that I extended to the characters.” (Read his comment in English).

Tablet – From Chainsaw Man
“Tablet” (錠剤) is the anime ending for episode 4 of Chainsaw Man. This TOOBOE anime song was released digitally on November 2, 2022.
“There is a lot of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s influence in my own works,” he shares in his official comment, noting how Denji’s loser-like qualities and the explosion scene in Goodbye, Eri were particularly impactful.
TOOBOE began making music as john about four months after the Chainsaw Man manga began. “I never would have imagined, about three years later, I’d get to be involved in the work like this, through the ending song,” he says, adding, “it’s a great honor.”
