All ZUTOMAYO Anime Songs
Warmthaholic – From Aharen-san wa Hakarenai
Released on April 18, 2025, “Warmthaholic” (微熱魔) is the opening theme song for Season 2 of Aharen-san wa Hakarenai.
A fan of the original manga, ACAne shared in her official comment that she reread the series many times while creating this ZUTOMAYO anime song.
She expressed that she had often been thinking about “the immeasurable distance between people” and enjoyed the process of shaping that image through sound.
“The immeasurable distance can lead to mutual understanding, or make you wish for the fieriness of that frustration,” ACAne writes; these feelings “sparked the creation of this song.”
TAIDADA – From Dandadan
“TAIDADA” is the anime ending for Dandadan. This ZUTOMAYO anime song was digitally released on October 3, 2024.
In her comment on ZUTOMAYO’s website, ACAne shared how she had been an avid reader of the manga series on Shonen Jump+, since its serialization. Momo left her curious, and Okarun’s morning greeting about being an amateur made her take notes on iCloud. “Being enemies helps each other,” she comments.
“TAIDADA” is inspired by a fighting spirit, as well as joyful moments—like “weakening after eating a delicious curry” or “the happiness of a four-and-a-half-tatami room.”
Truth in Lies – From My Oni Girl
“Truth in Lies” (嘘じゃない, Uso Janai) is the theme song for the movie My Oni Girl, marking ZUTOMAYO’s second collaboration with Studio Colorido. Released on May 23, 2024, this ZUTOMAYO anime song explores the theme of “true feelings.”
In her official comment, Aca-NE revealed that the phrase “not because someone told me to” from Director Tomotaka Shibayama profoundly influenced the song’s creation. She was surprised at how seamlessly the fragments of the song she had developed before their discussion synchronized with their feelings.
Director Tomotaka Shibayama also expressed his excitement at their conversation; he noted in a media comment that he was filled with anticipation as he felt “the image of the song spinning in ACA-ne’s mind.”

In a media comment, Director Tomotaka Shibayama shared his praises for both ZUTOMAYO anime songs for My Oni Girl, referring to them both as “masterpieces.”
Time Left – From Chainsaw Man
Released on October 19, 2022, ”Time Left” (残機, Zanki) is the anime ending for the second episode of Chainsaw Man.
In her official comment, ACAne shares how Chainsaw Man supported her through emotional milestones, mentioning that she was so happy she didn’t want to finish the song.
ACAne explains that she wrote the song based on her thought that “the process of becoming replenished is important.” She adds, “I was energized by an unyielding, lovable spirit.”
This ZUTOMAYO anime song is part of the TV anime series’ star-studded discography, featuring ending theme songs by Vaundy, Aimer and TK from Ling tosite sigure.
Blush – From Drifting Home
Released on September 8, 2022, “Blush” (消えてしまいそうです, Kiete Shimaisou Desu) is the theme song for the 2022 film Drifting Home.
In their official comment, ACAne shared insights into her creative process, noting that the work evokes thoughts of “times when seasons end and wither.” She explained how she immersed herself in these feelings while crafting the new summer song.
Director Ishida discussed how the song represents the culmination of the journey, with ACAne daringly expressing the painful events and feelings, through powerful singing. In an interview, he shared, “I listened to this while making the visuals, and it just…felt personal, comforting my lonely feelings.”
This ZUTOMAYO anime song marks the group’s first theme song for an animated feature film.
Summer Slack – From Drifting Home
“Summer Slack” (夏枯れ, Natsugare) is the insert song for the anime movie Drifting Home. This ZUTOMAYO anime song was released on September 15, 2022, one week after the theme song “Blush” was released.
In an interview, Director Ishida spoke about how “Summer Slack” captures the bittersweet feeling of being halfway through a school trip, when one knows they will soon return home. He noted that the lyrics evoked images of apartment complexes along the river, where he imagined the characters falling asleep while gazing at the night view—a scene he can easily picture, as he lives in a similar apartment complex.
In her official comment, ACAne added that she bonded with the director over the nostalgic atmosphere and unique charm of these buildings.
