Koi Kogare – From Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc

“Koi Kogare” (コイコガレ) is the ending theme for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc. Also released in April 2023, the ending theme is another beautiful collaboration between MAN WITH A MISSION and milet.

While the opening theme features “MAN WITH A MISSION X milet”, the closing theme “Koi Kogare” credits milet first—a nod to each artist’s contributions to the anime opening and ending. 

Composed by Yuki Kajiura and arranged by both Kajiura and MAN WITH A MISSION, this song brings out the vibrant and strong resonance of love.

In the band’s official comment, Jean-Ken Johnny thanked Kajiura for bringing out a new side of the band and expressed gratitude to milet for the opportunity to be a part of such a powerful piece.

Blaze – From Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans

“Blaze” is the anime opening for the special edition of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. Released in May 2022, the song was composed by Jean-Ken Johnny and arranged by the entire band.

This MAN WITH A MISSION anime song was written specifically for this digest version of the series, condensed into a nine-episode format. The special edition focuses on the activities of the protagonist Mikazuki Augus and “Tekkadan.” 

Merry-Go-Round – From My Hero Academia

“Merry-Go-Round” is the second anime opening for the fifth season of My Hero Academia. The song was released in September 2021.

“database” is the anime opening for the first season of Log Horizon. Released in October 2013, this MAN WITH A MISSION anime song features TAKUMA from 10-FEET.

In an interview, Jean-Ken Johnny shared how the chorus reflects the idea of the world as a vast database. He mentioned a quote from the manga Ghost in the Shell: “We are beings born in the sea of information,” and how the concept of a computer virus, rather than a human, being the true antagonist left a huge impression on him.

DON’T LOSE YOURSELF – From Hiragana Danshi

“DON’T LOSE YOURSELF” is the insert song for the anime film “Hiragana Danshi.” 

The song was released in November 2010. In a future Japan where written characters have disappeared, the film follows the character “あ” on a journey to find other hiragana characters.
