In a 2022 interview, he recounted purchasing his first bass guitar after completing his high school entrance exams and making a pact with friends to form a band once they entered high school. While playing in his cover band, he gradually became interested in the music production process. Eventually, he pursued more individual music projects and began posting his music on MySpace.
