Childlike Adults – From SANDA

Artist: yama

“Childlike Adults” (アダルトチックチルドレン) is the opening theme song for SANDA. This yama anime song was digitally released on October 3, 2025.

“What does it mean to become an adult?” yama asks in their official comment. They note that simply growing older does not make someone an adult, nor does being young make someone a child.

In the past, yama placed value on carrying their pain and vulnerability as they grew older. But in recent years, they began opening up to those closest to them and in their music, discovering parts of themselves that only emerge in connection with others.

Believing that people carry both childlike and adult qualities at any age, yama reflects, “I’ve realized that I want to believe in someone. That also means believing in myself.”

They hope this song reaches others, who are also living in the in-between.

GRIDOUT – From Your Forma

“GRIDOUT” is the opening theme song for the anime adaptation of Your Forma. This yama anime song was released on April 2, 2025.

yama highlights the contrast between a “human-like machine and a machine-like human,” emphasizing how their differences can bring new emotions to light.

“By lending an ear to the true voice inside, one can finally be purified.” yama aimed to express these emotional subtleties in “GRIDOUT.”
