“KUSUSHIKI” (クスシキ) is the second opening theme for season 2 of The Apothecary Diaries. This Mrs. GREEN APPLE anime song was digitally released on April 5, 2025.
In the band’s official comment, Ohmori shares, “Medicine can heal, but it can also become poison. Drawing hints from its original meanings of ‘mystical’ and ‘mysterious,’ we expanded the world of the melody and lyrics.”
The song’s title is inspired by the etymology of the Japanese word for medicine, “kusuri” (薬), which traces back to “kusushi” (奇し).
Written around the theme of “love that transcends this life and remains unchanged, even into the next life,” he hopes listeners enjoy the music alongside the developing story.

Ohmori focused on the “blue” of characters Seiho and Kaname, portraying both their brightness and the shadows they carry.
“Lilac” has become one of J-pop’s biggest hits of 2024, topping major charts such as Billboard JAPAN’s Hot 100, Apple Music’s Japan Top 100, and Spotify’s Top 50 Japan.

Released digitally on June 22, 2022, “I’m Invincible” (私は最強) is an insert song in ONE PIECE FILM RED. While the song is sung by Ado, who provides the voice for the character Uta, the song lyrics and composition were created by Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s Ohmori.

“Since I was little, I have been energized by ONE PIECE,” Ohmori expressed in his official comment. Despite the song’s bold title, he also wanted to express the main character Uta’s delicate nuance; “I’m Invincible” captures her strength and vulnerability, as she inspires herself to stand strong on stage.
Ado’s vocals, he remarked, created a “chemical reaction” that further enhanced the song’s impact, expanding into the open seas of ONE PIECE.
“I’m Invincible” was certified Double Platinum by the RIAJ (April 2023) and ranked on the Billboard Global 200 Chart. Check out the band’s self-covered version above.

In his official comment, Ohmori recalled how he was captivated by the “mysterious power” of the Fire Force manga when he picked up the first volume at a bookstore three years earlier. He expressed how deeply moved the band was to be chosen for the opening theme and channeled the same mysterious power into this fast-paced song.
“Inferno” earned a Triple Platinum certification in streaming by the RIAJ in April 2023, and has amassed over 400 million streams on BILLBOARD JAPAN charts.
On My MiND – From Nana Maru San Batsu
“On My MiND” is the opening theme for Nana Maru San Batsu, also known as Fastest Finger First. This Mrs. GREEN APPLE anime song was released on August 30, 2017.

Speaking – From Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V
“Speaking” is the fourth anime ending for Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V. Released on December 16, 2015, this upbeat track is Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s first anime collaboration.
The band members shared their surprise and excitement about the opportunity in a media comment, as they grew up alongside the franchise. Both Ohmori and Hiroto Wakai are the same age as the manga series, and many of them played the card game when they were kids.
Keyboardist Kiyokazu Fujisawa emphasized the track’s fun and catchy elements, such as the clapping and sing-along sections. He shared his hope that listeners, regardless of age or era, would feel that “it’s always important to look someone in the eye when you talk to them.”
