SPARK-AGAIN – From Fire Force
“SPARK-AGAIN” is the first opening theme for Fire Force Season 2, also known as Enen no Shouboutai: Ni no Shou. This Aimer anime song was released on September 9, 2020.
In her official comment, Aimer explained that she created “SPARK-AGAIN” to capture a glimpse of the fiery energy of the series, while also connecting to her current state of mind. She would be happy if the song “can raise the show’s voltage, naturally make your heart race each week as you hear it, and ignite a fire in your heart.”
haruhayuku – From Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] III. spring song
“haruhayuku,” (春はゆく) also known as “Haru wa yuku” is the theme song for Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] III. spring song, the third and final installment in the trilogy. This Aimer anime song was released on March 25, 2020.
In her official comment, Aimer noted that she felt a profound sense of responsibility at the opportunity and even trembled at the thought of shaping the song with such delicacy. She expressed, “But, love that contains every possible feeling—I wanted to express it as a single answer, so I sang with everything I had.”
Torches – From Vinland Saga
Released on August 14, 2019, “Torches” is the ending song for the anime series Vinland Saga.
In her official comment, Aimer revealed that she was inspired by “the image of a night sea, being brightened by a torch” while engaging with the original work. She described this Aimer anime song as “an empowerment song to myself,” reflecting on themes of life, death, and the emotions of both Thorfinn and Thors.

Released on January 9, 2019, “I beg you” is the theme song for Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] II. lost butterfly, is the second film in the trilogy.
In her official comment, Aimer conveyed her honor and excitement, while acknowledging the heavy responsibility she feels in contributing to the sequel. She expressed her deep respect for Heaven’s Feel world, stating, “Everything that only I can express, I want to put into the song.”
Ref:rain – From After the Rain
Released on February 21, 2018, “Ref:rain” is the ending theme for the anime After the Rain (恋は雨上がりのように, Koi wa Ameagari no You ni).
In her official comment, Aimer reflected on the “irreplaceable treasures” in the moments between Akira and the manager. She shared, “Every time I turn the page, it’s like the things I’ve lost are being picked up, as if I, too, am being affirmed.”
Aimer expressed that the work has brought her feelings of pain, happiness, and clarity; she hopes to channel what she has received from the characters into her own voice.
Hana No Uta – From Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] I. presage flower
“Hana No Uta” (花の唄) is the theme song for Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] I.presage flower, the first movie in the three-part film series. This Aimer anime song was released on October 11, 2017.
In her official comment, Aimer revealed that she was captivated by the song (composed by Yuki Kajiura) after just one listen. She comments, “It would be great if my voice could express the sadness, despair, kindness, and love, and bring all of it to life in this song.”
bL∞dy f8 -eUC- – From Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096
Released on June 29, 2016, “bL∞dy f8 -eUC-” is the second ending theme for the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096.
“bL∞dy f8 -eUC-” is a new adaptation of “bL∞dy f8,” which was featured on UnChild, Sawano Hiroyuki’s first album via the music project SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]; the new rendition is credited to SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:Aimer.
In an interview, Sawano explained that since the song had not been used in the OVA series, the new version was created to “properly connect the song and the work in a new shape.” “bL∞dy f8” was selected to be rearranged, given the original track had previously been featured in a promotional video for the character Angelo in the OVA.
Akanesasu – From Natsume’s Book of Friends
“Akanesasu” (茜さす), released on November 16, 2016, is the anime ending for season 5 of Natsume’s Book of Friends (Natsume Yujin-cho 5).
In her official comment, Aimer revealed that writing the lyrics brought tears to her eyes as she reflected on Natsume’s interactions with the youkai. She hopes that this Aimer anime song adds color to the mysterious world of these beings, who are “chilly and cold, but sometimes warmer than humans.”
Aimer also shared her excitement of seeing her beloved Nyanko-sensei in action.
ninelie cry-v – From Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Battle of Unato
Released on December 30, 2016, “ninelie <cry-v>” is the ending theme for the movie Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Battle of Unato. Credits to Sawano Hiroyuki’s music project SawanoHiroyuki[nZk], this song is a rearranged version of the original track mentioned below—now only featuring Aimer.
In an interview, Sawano Hiroyuki explained that the new version added rhythm and rock elements to better suit Aimer’s voice.
Director Tetsurō Araki commented that the arrangement “gave a lingering feeling at the end,” adding, “Without that, the final scene may not have turned out as good. It’s really good.”
ninelie – From Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress
Released on May 11, 2016, “ninelie” is the ending theme for Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. This Aimer anime song is a collaboration with vocalist chelly (now known as reche) from the former band Egoist and composer Hiroyuki Sawano.
In her official comment, Aimer expressed her excitement about collaborating with Chelly, whom she has always wanted to work with, and with Hiroyuki Sawano, whom she admires—sentiments that are reflected in each of their official comments.
Aimer also shared her anticipation in seeing how the original work “will dig into my heart.”
Through My Blood (AM) – From Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress
“Through My Blood <AM>” is the ending theme for episode 11 of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. Sung by Mika Kobayashi in the original soundtrack, this rearranged Aimer anime song was released on May 11, 2016, along with ninelie, replacing it for the penultimate episode of the series.
In an interview, Sawano revealed that “Through My Blood” is a rearranged version of the latter half of his track “1coma.” He shares that this piece was created with the image of the main character, Ikoma.
